I honestly don't understand what the thought process is for announcing micro transactions twice in a few days while this game community is on fire and obviously (based on reviews) very disapointed with the current state of the game.

Usually you push extras on a product when people are happy with what they already got. It just feels like the company is careless and does not make me want to put any more money in the game at all.

I am the only one that feels this way?

Well, is there any reason why they should hide finished cosmetics from the players? Or why they should tell the people working on cosmetics to simply ... stop working? It's not like they ar responsible for anything besides cosmetics, so they either make more of them or nothing at all. And I don't see how giving us more cosmetics makes the game worse.

Some might say the fell back into the "one news a day" scheme from PoE1 (not currently down for that game though), so when they don't have any more relevant stuff to announce, they might just do some mtx news post, be it new ones or discounted.

Nobody should care about cosmetic MTX in a game that's going to be free to play.

It's not like the artists who design that stuff can have any impact on the underlying systems that need work. They're completely different jobs with completely different skillsets, and most of that cosmetic stuff was probably finished over 6 months ago.

There are a few hundred thousand people who seem to like the game the way it is. Let them have some MTX available to help fund the game you play.

So sick of this argument... No, Poe 2 isn't F2P, the minimal price to play the game is 30€, , coins or not, and there is no free (without coins) option.

This is early access. For all we know, this game might never see final release and be shelved.
Asking people for money under those circumstances is wrong, no matter how you twist and turn it.
Shame on Steam for allowing this practice in Early Access titles.

Yes, and no one forced you to pay for early access. Still F2P games needs micro transactions. Deal with it or play something else.
