Does the patch fix the loot?

NO no it wasn't loot right now for at least the campaign is worse than ever.

Like you'l play through the whole campaign with under lvled gear and I mean like 15-25lvl behind and the only upgrade you'l find is by crafting and from the rando shop.

Honestly it feels better this run for me. The only thing i cant seem to get much of are Regal Orbs.

damn that sucks.. i've avoided this big update because i heard it sucks.. but hearing the loot is worse then it already was is just another reason i won't be coming back until they make some real big changes.

The entire campaign loot wise is dreadful but once you get past the campaign and into the endgame stuff after ACT3 it's fine.

Like every upgrade after ACT1 were all from the rando shop and crafting and I mean every single one.

YA the Last Epoch patch in 1 week will fix this game up good :) So good you won't even have to play it!

Yes, the dev saw the problem of players (a very small amount of them) actually getting drops so they patched out this glitch that led to player actually getting loot.

There's an easy way to get enough regal orbs. Just disenchant the rares that drop constantly.

Loot is way better than it was before, now you actually get the good bonuses that add dmg.

Using weapon here just as an example:

Lvl of the gear isnt even that impactful. Lower level weapon with good bonuses is better than higher one with bad ones, nothing wrong in using a lower level weapon.
Also way easier to actually get upgrade since higher level gear will eventually outdmg the lower one even if it has good bonuses.

And since the actual good dmg bonuses appear now all the time, its not even difficult to get upgrade. Just go check the vendors when you level up and theres often an upgrade if one wont drop. Or use the orbs you get to make one out of a magic one with good bonuses.

Are you guys just going through maps as fast as possible, not clearing everything? cant see any other reason that you arent getting loot and upgrades since they drop a lot.

Seems to me you are not using everything at your disposal if you still struggle with gear upgrades.

Not enough of it is dropping. It should be- few items drop, but currency/ mats drop more to craft/ gamba. Or more actual items drop, but less mats to craft/ gamba. But, the current system is to drop basically nothing so you are using the boots with 20+% movespeed you found in act 1 in act 3 etc, or you need the sockets etc.

Like, I'm playing SSF and feel like loot is okay.
So, how much loot are we talking about here?
Diablo3/4 style unwarranted/unearned comically ridiculous instagratification loot showers?
Or just a "bit" more?
What magnitudes are we talking about here? And do you think that the magnitude you want to see will be the same magnitude as the next guy wants to see?
