Cant buy from Alva

Anyone else dealing with this? I can maybe buy one or two things from her then she just stops selling to me. She still buys my crap.
Really sucks when you NEED to gamble for a gear piece.

Don't be upset, the limit only applies while in acts. In endgame, there is no limit to gamble (when you unlock waystone mapping)

I think the idea was to make sure you use the gear that drops rather than just farming her with gold from your main.

! issue with that is the drops in game are utter trash and you can go for a dozen levels with zero useful or mid drops that don't help. Even uniques in game are not worth using and only become mildly useful once you can farm maps for the truly good ones.

That said . .Alva drops the same trash you would find out in the game world so being able to farm her wouldn't help in any case.

The whole game is focused on pushing you to use the god awful trade site and it doesn't even try and hide just how biased it is in this.

So you have a couple of options.

1. Suck it up and deal with the ♥♥♥♥ tier drops till you can farm end game T15 maps.
2. Lick GGGs boots and tow the line and go use their trash tier trading site.

Or do what a lot of people are doing and just stop playing till GGG gets their ♥♥♥♥ together.

Actually that last one wont happen since GGG is biased towards their trading site and making sure in game drops are trash tier. You can go look at POE1 as an example of this and how focused they are in keeping people hooked on their trading site.

Only way we are getting an in game auction system is if they can find a way to monetise it, gotta farm them whales for Daddy back in the Motherland.

Nothing wrong with trade site, too many kids too use to being spoon fed. Then they come to a real game and get all types of hurt.

Ironically, this is also the suggested method of "gearing" when drops fail. Because the people that say it's the source of fixing your bad RNG did it before it was tied to rare kills. And capped.

Loot in PoE is even more busted than it was in Diablo.

if you look at bottom of her trade screen you will see a number/100 during story there are limited number of gamble attempts and you need to kill unique named mobs to add more chances.
