Good question but there are no classes, only cosmetics. Every character can use every skill and weapon. Classes are just a starting point on a convoluted skill tree so no matter where you start you can make your way anywhere.

Look at some builds online, they'll save you a massive headache later on and you'll get to read through some guides that will give you some ideas.

Highly recommend not looking up a build guide or reading guides. Jump in, play, and kinda figure things out little by little as you go. Game was a lot of fun that way.

That said, best class? Hover over the warrior in the selection screen, then pretend it doesn't exist and pick anything else.

Best class is whatever you choose in Undecember or Diablo 4

The people saying there are no classes are stupid and wrong. The class you get determines what ascendancy you can choose. You can use skills from the entire skill tree, all classes share that. The classes do not share ascendancies though. I recommend doing Sorc or Monk, those are very fun. Monk is a little slow at the start though.

Without a robust basis to state a fact as such renders your statement as unsubstantiated, in other words just saying something is bad does not make it inherently true. As an unbiased individual in regard to this subject I would advise that building your argument using evidence to support it would lend a measure of credence to your conclusion that D4 is better.

Class doesn't really determine much in this game. I suggest taking a look at the avalible ascendancy classes (these are like subclasses that favor a particular playstyle) and choose whichever one seems interesting.

Otherwise pick whoever looks coolest.

A lot of people are saying to avoid Warrior but that's because Armor and Maces are under-powered currently and most of the nodes near the warrior's start are related to those two things in one way or another. Unless you really like the warrior's ascendancy classes you're better off just starting as one of the other classes instead.
