Path of Exile 2

Bad performance with RTX5070 Ti
does anyone have the same issue? The game runs with 25FPS on my 3440x1440 monitor.
CPU is Intel Core Ultra 7 265K

Are you sure you have actually tested this computer? It could be the first game pressing its CPU enough to show an issue.

Be careful, we'll all know stuff about you based on which games you use to claim you're sure it's good...

You you bought a very expensive CPU. Did you actually buy a good enough motherboard for it? If you put it in the cheapest socket it would fit in...

do you have the gpu installed on the 1st PCIE slot?
if not, it could be running in x4 or x8 instead of x16

This is the complete build:

I put the card in the first slot (the closest to the CPU)

This is what Hwinfo says to the PCIe slot:
PCIe v5.0 x16 (32.0 GT/s) @ x1 (2.5 GT/s)
looks like a sweet build .. if I'm understanding correctly, hwinfo is saying the slot is x16 but running in x1 mode for some reason.

double check the windows power profile isn't in "power saver" mode?
could try to toggle between different pcie gen modes BIOS? 3 vs 4 vs 5 (your card and board both support 5, so that should work)
iGPU dGPU auto-switch issue .. ?
Fell for the 50-series meme OOF

When I switch to 4 it looks like this (it was on auto in Bios): PCIe v5.0 x16 (32.0 GT/s) @ x1 (2.5 GT/s)

I did check that as well. I can enable iGPU then DLSS is gone. So it definetly is the RTX...

Also I did install afterburner to track GPU stats and it seems that the Watt does not go above 100W.
If I run Furmark it easily goes to 300W...
I have no idea what I can do now.
I play 4k res with 3080ti intel core i9 12th gen
ON LAPTOP
Did 7 breaches today SAME TIME activated = 0 lags
maybe u got faulty card :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

Your GPU runs with 1x.
Try to reseat the GPU. If this doesnt help, enter the BIOS and reset the BIOS to default setting. Leave it on default, boot up and check again.

How many SSDs are in your system? It could be possible that you have no PCIe Lanes left.

I think i plugged it in the wrong port after inspecting the manual once again. I‘ll recheck after work and post an update.

the correct port is the port next to the CPU all other ports have not x16 support, you also should have running a game during looking at the portspeed, at low usage like in windows desktop only the port goes down to x1 to save power.
the better tool to check the active port speed is GPU-Z.

First of all thank you all for your support!

I took an image of my build yesterday and there it is clear that the card is not plugged in the right port...

PCI_E1 Gen PCIe 5.0 supports up to x16 (From CPU)
PCI_E2 Gen PCIe 3.0 supports up to x1 (From Chipset) <- here I plugged I guess....

I did not even notice the "silver" PCIe slot, last time I built a PC from scratch is 100 years ago. Back then all PCIe where either white or black.

OMG - what a Layer 8 problem! I'll keep you posted on the updated performance.
