poe 2 release?

Unless next months content patch is a massive content drop, (multiple classes, a campaign act and new league mechs) It's starting to feel EOY 2025, early 2026.

The game is supposed to be free on release, as per the devs stating it. The devs ALSO stated the game would be out of early access in 6-12 months, which 12 seems to be the more likely case. So while im hesitant to trust them, it does seem that when it launches it will be free to play. But the timeline on that is likely 2026.

They cant release a single act, if they release the acts its gonna be all 3 at the same time.

1. it's $30 USD for Early Access code.
2. Probably no sooner than end of year.
3. No it's not pay to play. After Early Access Free to Play (so they said).

The EA FAQ states the EA will run for a minimum of 6 months. My guess is that the game will be in EA for between 6 to 12 months. After EA ends the game will be F2P and supported via cosmetics exactly like how PoE1 works.

After all weapons and classes are present in the game THEN we might be getting close to full release. I don't think they'll release the game before all weapons have gotten some time to cook.
