i stated the card, the fps before and after, and that drivers are up to date. thats really all that matters. it appears to be a game bug with this particular card, as its not affecting a majority of people or there would be more of a fuss about it.
not going to search for solutions on the web. i will ask here. if someone doesnt like that, they dont have to respond, but the thread will continue.
its comical to me how needlessly hostile people are when anonymity is involved. forums are wild.
unfortunate brother. hopefully they fix it soon.
It sounds like a shader thing. Or, honestly, remember all those people telling each other to do crap like install 3rd party software or mess with their cpu thread configuration, run registry edits etc? Yeah well, I promise you if other games are fine it's a software problem, so if you can't figure it out you can reinstall if you want to play. That's it, you can fix it today or don't.
its all good i will wait for a fix.
I have blocked over 50 users now, all i see them reply was ‘skill issue’. Such a toxic community.
gitgud, ggg did nothing wrong, etc type of glazer replies,
i instant eyes filter their malnutrition replies already, its like writing nothing at all. these replies just as same as tech issue report on poe forum.
yeah this happened again after last patch, updated nvidia patches run ok, then latest patch revert and worsen the fps dip.
other games i had doesnt have this problem, only poe2.
2) Run the game on Windows 10. Most of the problems don't exist on it. Running on 11 is much worse. Almost all problems posted are from people on 11.
game runs smooth for me still.
now the easiest thing since you have an Nvidia card would be to run msi afterburner with RivaTunerStatistics overlay
this can show you data about your GPU and CPU on screen while ingame
if you have any experience with computers i am sure you will manage to google how this is done.
====
most important ones (and i adjusted the values to 4070super values) are:
-temperatures: should be around 70c maximum ! if it goes above you have a temperature problem since the hotspot is usually 12c above what is shown so 70c = 82c
-clockspeed: should be around 2400mhz + for your card
-watts: should be around 200w +
====
if any of the numbers is off then you have to inspect further.
This ensures your gpu is running at full power without thermal problems
Here are my numbers for my RTX 2080TI (left upper corner)
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3431389557
~80fps on WQHD all high settings
250w GPU
57C temps
1830mhz ( for the RTX2080TI everything above 1650mhz is fine)
hard to tell.. your topic is 7 hrs in the past, however, there has been no update on my side.. I'm inclined to believe the executable was not changed, at least not in the past day.
perhaps, have you switched your GPU? - there are numerous claims when, you switch GPU from nVidia to AMD or vice-versa, FPS tanks - stutters, all sorts of anomalies, which I can only class, neither nVidia nor AMD wants to do anything about it.. I also know for a fact a DDU uninstall and a clean install of your new provider mostly fixes it, case you are on this scenario.
Question is, are you? - and if so, and if you switched GPUs, did you try DDU the older drivers and install new ones after a reboot?
