Path of Exile 2

Damage calculation plz help
Need some explanation.
For example I have crossbow and shoot with projectiles, and my crossbow do 100 damage per shot. My skill do 40% damage as lightning damage. So as I understand I do 60 phys and 40 lightning damage. I got nodes on passive tree.
So as I understand:
+ 10% to projectile damage means I do 66 phys + 44 lightning = 110 total.
+ 10% to attack damage means I do 66 phys + 44 lightning = 110 total.
+ 10% to aliment damage means I do 60 phys + 44 lightning = 104 total.
So in my case I its better to invest in projectile and attack damage.
The question is, my calculations correct or I missing something?

I think you meant elemental damage and not ailment damage. But yes it's correct, tags that can work on all of the skill damage are better (in you case attack and projectile). There are no double dips in poe 2 so increased damage only happens after conversion, so phydical damage converted to elemental only get bonus from elemental, not physical.

Also increased are calculated from the base and more are multiplicative.

So if you have 100 base damage and get 10% increased attack and 10% increased projectile you end up with 100 + 10 + 10 = 120 and not with (100 + 10) + 11 = 121 (that would be 10% more damage).

Ah ty. And what about "30% increase magnitude of shock you inflict"
Shock gives + 20% damage increase on shockes enemies, so + 30% magnitude means you do 50% more damage on shocked enemies?

"Increased" usually calculates from the base so it's 20 * 1.3 = 26%.
