Whats a good way to grind levels/better gear?
This is my first time playing a game like this and some of these later bosses are feeling like brick walls, I feel like I should be a higher level or have better gear? what should I be doing, any tips?

If you are playing standard, official trade site is normally the way to go if you are having bad rng with gear in general. A couple of exalt orbs can go a long way early on. If you are getting no orbs at all, then check your vendors for gear at every level. They refresh upon level up. On my first play through, ever time I hit a wall with a boss, I went back to the area prior or area with highest mob density and over leveled a few levels. Sometimes this is enough to squeak by with upgraded passives. Try to optimize any stats on your gear to make sure as many as possible apply to your character or set up.
OP: Congratulations on recognizing that your character might not be as powerful as it should be, and that you need to make some effort to make it stronger. If a particular boss or one of its mechanics is giving trouble, I or many others surely have advice regarding it, especially if we know your build.

As tenchu said, the trade site is a surefire way to get powerful gear. I'd actually recommend minimizing its use; you can easily become overpowered with it. Unless you like mowing enemies down effortlessly, that is (play how you want to).

Alternatively, try gambling- not just a little, but a lot- for replacing particularly weak pieces of gear. If you're short on Rares, you're likely to get some from gambling. I expect you're likely to have excess gold- remember, gold is ONLY for NPC vendors and refunding passive points. So gamble away- just not all of it, save enough to respec at least a few points. Unused gold is wasted gold.

Same for the other currencies, particularly orbs of Transmutation, Augmentation, Regal and Alchemy. Use them, pick up 'trash' and upgrade them. Try to save Exalted for endgame or for trade. Any unused currency is wasted currency.

For farming, simply 'farm' the highest level you can. In campaign, there's no real penalty for death, so be as fast and reckless as you want. Try to pump up your item rarity modifiers, if you have any gear that has it.

I hope that helps.

Get carry. Find a group, ninja the loot the host will never pick up. The big issue is RNG. Good luck getting proper affixes.

Depends on which stage you are the grinding location is different. For reference your level normally about +2-4 of the map monster level. This game exp is affected by level difference. So grinding too much is worthless.

For loots the fastest will be poe trade if you dont mind the toxicity of poe trading. Otherwise it will be rare killing, find the one that near way point, kill it, reset the map. Rinse and repeat. That is what they did when they are in campaign back then.

I dont think you are at end game yet as nor ally people will ask different question.
What lvl which boss?

Just take all your exalted and buy good equipment on Poe2 Trade (official trade market). If you're up to 60 level spen 1 exalted per one item, if you're higher and have more ex just spend more ex. That's save tons of your time. Check what items you need for your character to avoid mistakes

a good tip with the bosses is that they usually do Specific type of elemental damage or chaos.. so if you are having issues with one find out what type of damage it does then stack protection for that type of damage.. then you can swap back to your standard gear after the right
Be the richest person in the world and cheat.
put on a set of rarity gear, idc how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it is, and farm breaches at the highest tier you can on easy maps to build currency/bases. Roll the items as you need and hopefully after about 10k kills or so you should have a nice stack of divines to get a whole set of items to push into t15. repeat as much as needed, pretty stress free too
