He got boosted, think that's ok. you can have your mom play your character while you are at school. That's the logic behind boosting. Don't really see an issue with it. The issue is one of morals, not legality.
Account sharing is against the rules, and Elon also admitted to RMT in POE and D4. Also against the TOS.
It's equivalent to cheating. He bought himself a character, and items, and then pretended to be one of the best players in the world.
Elon is a sad little fraud, with lots of money.
RMT is GGG's side gig. That's why trading is as it is. I thought I saw the tweet about boosting only though, which would mean that he got people to play his characters. But you might be correct. But since GGG want RMT and trading as is, they are not going to do anything about it if you are correct.
In an ironic way....PoE is designed to be highly capitalistic in nature. It's just the design intent by GGG. It will always have people who disagree.
lets say you manage to get him banned. you dont think he cant just do it again? lol.
i promise many accounts are being shared. its very common. any company can see where log ins occur and have little interest in actually addressing it
interesting take but fyi what youre describing is called "cronyism" a bastardization of capitalism, or really any economical/political system and it looks like GGG supports it. sad!
Well it is a bit of a reductionist statement with what I said. Obviously there will be people who don't share/agree with my opinion. But I sort of came to that thought given that this game has a lot driven by trading. And it's the streamers/blasters who will always have the edge because they can invest more time and reap more rewards than someone who either can't play as much. So in a weird way, at least with trade league, blasters will always have an edge.
They will always be richer than those who don't play as much and will dictate and drive the economy. Again it's just a reductionist view of capitalism in this game.
you dont need lots of money to buy items in video games.
and also, most people wo do so dont get banned or caught.
the "seller" is who gets banned for commercial abuse of the game.
actaully whoever complains about someone else having better itmes in a game that is not even competative is just a sad jelly.
it doesent matter if soemone gets an item because of a one in a billion lucky drop or bought itfrom chinese, the results are the same. you little suckers are envy because you dont have it for yourselfe.
guess whats going to happen when your best friend finds 4 divines in a row or maybe a mirror ... you feel cheated and treated unfair.
But I think cheating in an online game is infinitely harder than in local. Because you need access to external private database, which is illegal.
