games are designed to waste time. thats fine. this one wastes a bit too much time and that should be tweaked to make the game more rewarding. at least imo
I just feel bad for SSF players because the game definitely doesnt drop enough currency until you get into deeper maps to fund your "crafting" sessions to improve build ideas.
Meanwhile a guy that sits for a week trading 100% of his time funds multiple divine sink builds.
Also not to mention SSF builds get nerfed too which hurts twice as much.
ya i would like to see SSF drops be more weighted to the current class/weapon/skills equipped at the time. without knowing in detail what the backend math looks like that would be my suggestion to improve the SSF experience.
my frost sorc has gear with 2-3 stats on it worth a crap because that was the best loot pinata would do for me. thats after lots of spins on the slot machine. still better than my titan, but still not the experience i was after personally.
hyperbole doesnt render the entire point moot. whether its 1 player or thousands, the issue players have with trade doesnt change. why would you think that part of the comment made such a large difference?
The game shouldnt reward people sitting in their hideout flipping.
Say for example you do this in WoW and flip the auction house for gear you still need to do the required raids for BiS gear and actually play the game.
Sure you can give gold to get carried in said raids and 100% acquire the loot by buying it for the carry. But you still have to "play".
Here? make a new account, get a few ex and flip/slot machine away. Once you get enough div or mirrors you just buy a few builds and play them for a few days and quit. Or do something worse. Gatekeep others in multipler situations.
Since you were antagonistic, I don't walk on water, I step on tears. I know my build won't ever be as good as the guys that trade or look up builds and watch streamers, I know I'll more than likely never reach 100, and I'm good with that.
