Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2

orbs are a massive bottle-neck
this is getting rather irritating. finding like 2 of each exalted/regal orb an hour is rather bogus when they're required to make an item that GGG wants us to create. I'm not looking for them to drop as often as scrolls of wisdom but they need to be quadrupled. It's rather boring playing a game you feel like you have no hope of finding upgrades in.

i agree

any interaction with the crafting system is utter sht
while it is possible to have good luck of sorts
it just doesnt feel good

tried to craft 50+ crossbows from white base

decided to not try again as its a waste of ex orbs that are just to rare to be spammed into crafting attempts

i mean , if you would get yourself some magigfind on your gear , you would probably quadruple those orb drops

Rarity on gear is bad design. You shouldn't have to sacrifice stuff on Gear to have better Progression. Progression should just naturally be there for everyone.

i found like 5 in the space of 2 mins last last in a tier 1 rushing to a citidale
Later in the game when you're using Alchemy Orbs and Vaal Orbs on all your T15 maps and only running T15s+, Exalts and even Regals feel very common.

You will reach a point where you kill a boss and feel disappointed with the 2-3 exalts he drops.
I feel that way. I see them as failed Divines :steamsad:. I don't run MF gear btw.

You might not be able to sustain your Vaal Orbs in SSF. But Alchemy I don't believe I have ever had to buy these.
Juice your maps a bit and they will start raining.

It's almost like they want player retention instead of you getting your best in slot in thr first 30 minutes of playing

I wish they'd just redesign the system, cause everything seems to get stuck around yellow (gold for colorblind) items, if you make other orbs less rare, that would raise availability of yellows, this they probably don't want cause of scarcity. I get scarcity and I like it, but the leveling experience is so boring, you have sh*tload of blue orbs, you can craft blues to death and back, but there's not much point and fun to spend them all: attribute pool isn't large, you pretty much roll for 2-3 things and sometimes it's not even worth bothering if you regularly check the shops.

I wish they went back to D2 design where blues could roll higher values, but that means they have to get rid of "turning blues to yellow and keeping the original modifiers".

most craftable gear isn't worth an Exalted or Regal to begin with. If I have a white base item, and it doesn't get at least mid tier for the mod I really want when I make it a blue/magic item, then I don't waste a Regal to make it rare/yellow.

If I get lucky on the mods for the blue item, and lucky on the mod for the Regal craft, then, and only then will I use an Exalted.

If I get a rare drop that already has the most important mods I want at least mid tier, then that's like finding a unicorn and I'll use however many Exalt necessary to max out the mods. Even then most of those rares end up being trash.

Well the idea is that you can farm. If you can clear a lvl 80 Trial of Chaos in 15 minutes, you will do about 200 ex an hour on average, for example, just from selling cores and fragments you get there. Big juices up Breaches, omen-farming, logbook farming for sale etc. There are many ways to get steady source of good income. Myself made 10 Divs on ToC farming today in a few hours.

It's a grind, yeah, but... that is how people make their monies here.

I have over 100 magic find and doing Atlas and am picking up every material. I don't miss anything. And running T15 maps is literally the end of the game!!!!!!! Why would a player need 200 exalts and hour when they already clear the game?????
really.... I can't believe you guys are actually taking the time to type these replies lol
