any interaction with the crafting system is utter sht
while it is possible to have good luck of sorts
it just doesnt feel good
tried to craft 50+ crossbows from white base
decided to not try again as its a waste of ex orbs that are just to rare to be spammed into crafting attempts
Rarity on gear is bad design. You shouldn't have to sacrifice stuff on Gear to have better Progression. Progression should just naturally be there for everyone.
You will reach a point where you kill a boss and feel disappointed with the 2-3 exalts he drops.
I feel that way. I see them as failed Divines
You might not be able to sustain your Vaal Orbs in SSF. But Alchemy I don't believe I have ever had to buy these.
Juice your maps a bit and they will start raining.
its almost like you are the only one thinking this way
I wish they went back to D2 design where blues could roll higher values, but that means they have to get rid of "turning blues to yellow and keeping the original modifiers".
most craftable gear isn't worth an Exalted or Regal to begin with. If I have a white base item, and it doesn't get at least mid tier for the mod I really want when I make it a blue/magic item, then I don't waste a Regal to make it rare/yellow.
If I get lucky on the mods for the blue item, and lucky on the mod for the Regal craft, then, and only then will I use an Exalted.
If I get a rare drop that already has the most important mods I want at least mid tier, then that's like finding a unicorn and I'll use however many Exalt necessary to max out the mods. Even then most of those rares end up being trash.
Well the idea is that you can farm. If you can clear a lvl 80 Trial of Chaos in 15 minutes, you will do about 200 ex an hour on average, for example, just from selling cores and fragments you get there. Big juices up Breaches, omen-farming, logbook farming for sale etc. There are many ways to get steady source of good income. Myself made 10 Divs on ToC farming today in a few hours.
It's a grind, yeah, but... that is how people make their monies here.
really.... I can't believe you guys are actually taking the time to type these replies lol
