Good games don't happen on pressure.
The bigger the playerbase the faster it will be with bugfixes etc.. thing is though i believe GGG released it just before xmas just so they would get everyone at home so the playerbase would have lots of free time, though in that time although fixes are being done.. its still very much early beta in my opinion, despite how much i love the game and have played it everyday since release i find that just from the recent patch alone says a absolute ton about how much truly does need to be fixed.
So as for when its truly live.. i'd say a year might be closer to the truth.. i mean there's various factors too.. like audience retention in a sense, you know what people are like nowadays.. they seem to up and quit and just head to the next straight off the bat or they get bored during endgame and are for the most part constantly demanding more and more content and yet the game needs more fixing than more content.. the numbers of people playing will drop overtime and it wont take that long either.. its early days this is just how it goes. Same thing happened to Poe1 many years ago, though nowadays it seems to be much harder to keep peoples attention.. but they will always drift back overtime.. even if they quit.. they always do. lol.
You need to step back into reality.
*Correct me if I'm wrong.
If you want to step into reality, the reality is that this EA period only exists to siphon more money out of you, just straight-up. When you start focusing on "6 more classes and 3 more acts", you forget that this is a P2P title that was presented as a F2P game. There was no real reason for you to spend money just to play this.
Anyway, like Spaced said, I'll just have to come back in a year and see what's up then.
Nah, that's pretty spot on.
There's almost zero chance that this game will not leave early access eventually. Will probably take longer than the 6 month minimum they set, but I don't think there's any chance they abandon the project before release and/or never have it leave early access.
