Game has lost 350k players already.
it's almost like it's not fun. Crazy! Maybe listen to feedback instead of 2 streamers.

People like to create drama. They think it makes them important or whatever.

The truth ? The players are waiting for the new league, as always. Most people have done the content. Being early access, there is not much to do, so everyone played what was available and will come back for 0.2.0.

Just like people do in poe1.

Oh man this guy knows the truth watch out. Knows the entire playerbase and the masses. Hire him.
It's called data. SteamDb shows you that EA games has a natural ebb and flow in relation to major and minor updates. It also shows you that F2P games official release are always bigger than the EA release.

It's not about knowing the masses, it's about learning to read the data.

Welcome to EA. Please read the disclaimer.

we understand ea. 500k trusted GGG
we are talking all the time about respect in the communcation between developer and us, the gamer now only 112k
we talk about fun in the game and we have small and big problems
nothing happens , for exampel how diffcult is it to solve the problem that we have no exp lost in the endgame. it is ea you can do that when you have not a better ideas for the endgame loop at the moment.
it is at all really boring to read again and and again ___it is the skill or you don t understand ea and and and

All these people in here countering discussing that GGG is going to do the old ways of doing things.

Think of how many more players that would get if they made better decisions. 100k or more players have left. They are never coming back. GGG could have prevented that. We all know it.

Those 100k players dont matter they bought on hype and never even looked into the game they were buying its a sequel for a reason its not hard to look at poe1 to know what the game is based on and it was cheap, every ARPG that has lasted more than a year has leagues most of those players play for a month or a bit more then go and play something else others roll other classes or play HC but most only play one class all the way through the league.

You dont change a formula for a whole genre they have made the best ever ARPG in the first game and they are not stupid enough to think fans know better when 13 years later they still get 100k on league launch on poe1.

They have always said we are making a game we want to play if we get players that like it too great but they have rarely changed major things because players moan look at damage numbers thats been going on for 10+ years and every time they get asked they just say no.

the Million of sales they had is nothing compared the people who will pick it up when its FTP

I understand what your saying. GGG still could have done different things and possibly more frequent hotfixes for a few things since coming off Christmas break. If these things were done I'd put money the concurrent player count would have never dipped below 200K and a consistent everyday, at all hours 200K.

Think of all the money they could have made in the last 2 months. That's a lot. and all it needed was some simple changes and 1 or 2 different decisions.
Yeah i agree but you have to remember they only have 100-150 people in the company they aren't a AAA dev like blizzard etc they had one game under there belt and the upkeep on new leagues was the priority this is the first time they had todo something new in 13 years and it was suppose to come out earlier than it did but things change.

I for one was glad to have it release in dec and most who are into arpgs would have maxed out 2-3 classes by end of jan regardless and thats putting in 2-300 hours your gonna be taking some time off by then you cant say the campaign and gear up to endgame is quick so you get your content to tie you over for a few months learning the game and builds etc then least when new content comes out you have a sense of what your doing.

D4 for example i bought it on release as ive played them all back to d2 and yeah it was good but the new league i maxed out and finished all the content in a day or 4 hours and that was winging it and was done, poe will never be that you will always get alot more content regardless most leagues there is always just a 3-4 month wait every time.

remember games not finished yet and you need to remember pc games die out faster,
theres alot more players on playstation then there is on pc consoles usually have more players as its just a plug and play system,
that said the game still has 80k+ players on steam thats far from dead game,
it goes back to around 200k during the afternoon north american timezone,
and drops in the evening sometimes goes to 100k,

player count on steam isnt accurate either its a delayed count, plus it doesnt display console players,

I've been following GGG since 2013, they are the best developers I've met in my long gaming time.. the problem I was talking about is you.. sorry
you mean tencent? theyve been tencent longer than they have been GGG

lmao
can you please provide proof oh wait you got banned on here for most likely misleading information for the purpose of trolling thats my assumption just like yours with ggg being held captive by the chinese governments gaming division.

GGG is in over their head on this. They never expected a niche ARPG to turn into this.
seems to me it's been rather stable around 60-70k and that's the core playerbase (I'm not talking abt myself) GGG has been keeping happy
