Hard crashing PC
Brand new PC, no excuse why this game, and this game alone should be hard crashing and having to be force reset, in a loading screen. I feel like the shaders could use some love, also some of the graphical options such as multi threading for the engine. I feel like its a bit broken, in a state where frequent graphical lag spikes occur, causing the game to catch up. I feel like a goo patch would be optimizing the base of the games graphics engine or something along those lines. I Do enjoy the new functions along with this patch, i hope there are many more to come within the weeks, keep up the great work GGG, Game is great so far, just needs some love and attention underneath, maybe it will stop destroying peoples PC's.

change the shader buffer in the graphic cards setting. lag spike? check your network I have not had an issue with the patch.. it has been running smoothly. if its a hard crash.. its the os build. I run windows 11 pro.. the game will not cause that kind of damage.

Lol, some people (me) are new to PC and your Holier than thou comment serves of no help.
Instead maybe you can help a fellow new PC player get more acquainted with it, Or not its fine anyways as we can always learn and grow and you well, you'll just be you
Indeed, it is concerning that GGG hans't fixed this hard crashes. OP, the thing that fixed for me, specially if you have an AMD CPU is to once you start the game disable Core 0 and Core 1 in your task manager, remember that you have to do it every single time you start the game. It won't fix the crashes 100% but what it will fix are all the crashes that basically bricks your PC (instead of blocking your PC, the path of exile client just crashes to the desktop).

ive had pc for 15 years and never used event viewer so idk what your problem is
I just un-tick multi threading in the games graphic options before loading a new zone or going back to town. Town fps is like 10 and it is annoying to constantly do this for every pretransition but you just re-tick multi threading once your in the new zone. Haven't crashed on loading once since doing this. :wololo:

Its to much to explain , U can start by checking the event viewer log for the error , press the windows key and type event viewer , on the left go to system and check the logs and the time stamp of the crash , I dont mean to be rude its just really complicated if ur new , even with me explaining doesnt mean that u would specificly learn allot.

Same here, only thing that works for me is disabling the multi threading before taking a portal.

Figment of your imagination. Games Good, 2025 Toaster is still a toaster. If your computer is over a day old, why even try playing new games

it pretty much is plug in and play for the most part, been on pc for 10 years and it isn't that hard, unless you are really trying to get into complicated things. Calm down buddy, you ain't that guy

Hogwarts s been a hot mess since release u know , and cs2 is so old i can grow 250 beards between now and release or more xD this game isnt well optimized atall , cus its still in EA , u cant expect good performance yet , It doesnt really matter what they do untill full release as long as 1.0 is solid and by then balance changes should be the main issue.

The pc i use atm has no issues with load times and my wifes pc does have minor issues with that , its just what it is atm , im sure u already know all of this since u opted to test for them and payed 30€$ or whatever.

btw the way to report issues is /bug "insert here" ingame chat

Early access is lik 99% finished game in terms of the actual work and effort which need to be put into it. Problem is that bug is known after 24h of EA release and GGG blames someone else and don't want to admit it's their fault and their responsiblity to fix it.
