Map Sustain & Devs Ignorant?
Level 87 Pathfinder (I was) running rare high tier maps typically with 150%+ increased Waystone drop chance, with Precursor Tablet bonuses to increased Waystone drop % on the Atlas nodes I'm running, Atlas skills with Waystone drop % AND higher tier Waystone drops, running Breaches, Delerium, Expeditions and Bosses when I can, and yet I've run out of high tier maps.

I'm farming juiced T11 maps (which is the highest tier I have left) but guess what, no higher tier maps are dropping. Devs seemed completely ignorant of this problem when asked by Darth Micro during their recent podcast interview. Are the devs playing the same game as us?

For example, I just finished a highly juiced T11 map as described above, and I got 1 Waystone drop.... a white T8 map. Results like this are typical for my mapping now and I've started lvling up my alts in the meantime. My main leveling has hit a plateau because of map sustain problems.

run boss maps and problem solved
Im SWIMMING in 2 tabs full of t15/16.

Bosses drops like 3+ top tier maps.

Breaches drops TONS of maps (but variable tier).

If you watched 0.1.1 patch talk carefully, we will be getting more bosses (many maps are unable to spawn bosses now, so we got lower count atm) and boss precursors as bonus. So given the fact i mentioned above, they are giving us better map sustain. Bosses are the key now (as they seems to have guaranteed map tier, not just random low tier maps) and they gonna buff them.

Fun fact: theres one map with double boss (woodland?) with each boss having its own loot pool, so you can get atleast 5 or 6 top tier maps from them

piss off, your reading comprehension is severely lacking. there's a reason why you're already on my blocked list, but I was curious about this comment only to find you're still posting the same garbage you always do.
did y'all only read the OP title and not the actual text?

I think you're confusing me, even if you can read me despite the fact that I'm on your block list, I'm extremely rarely active in the Steam forum and have given 3 answers in the POE 2 forum, something can't be right ^^

Bosses, breach, correct atlas passives. Problem solved. I'm running to the problem of having way too many maps.
Do you take Atlas passives that give you higher chances for maps to be higher tier? Also, you can just use low level maps as travel nodes to get to boss locations, bosses will almost always drop waystones, combined with good atlas tree, you're set to go.

If you take only increased rarity on the Atlas, and have nothing to the maps... *Shrug*
Had the same experience at one point, they did eventually drop however it was all t13+, something seems to be off with t12 on multiple alts aswell

Then you are either extremely unlucky or dying too much, I've done exactly the same and had plenty of higher tier waystones to progress all they way to T15.

No, hes just unable to admit hes doing something wrong. We are at the point where talking to OP is useless, he gets the message, and now he will just fight.

I'm in a similar situation to the OP. Currently T13, and have had a significant fall off in map drops from around T10/T11. I have 1 T15, everything else is T11 or less. I have taken all the passives and used precursor tablets too.

I don't think +100-150% drop chance is really cutting it in general. I have noticed that maps juiced to +250-350% are usually disproportionately better. The risk of dying is also much higher though.

I also haven't done that many bosses recently due a couple of early deaths so this might be an issue in my case. I have found drops to be really uneven throughout endgame though. I either have an abundance or am on the verge of running out.
You are the kind of people who can with my patience, you have to have little iq, first, that happens to you, and second, that people try to help you and the only thing you know how to say is that others are idiots and only read the title. People are not to blame that you are unable to read or search on youtube, no, better to come here to cry like a child, you are pitiful.

By the way, it's my first time in poe2 and I have 1 and a half bags with tier 13-15 maps, if you are useless, it's not our problem.

PFFF, map drop is bad? git gut dude xD

The problem is not well explained when you're new, or not a dev yourself, not only do you have to pump currency into the maps to make them provide anything at all but you basically have to save your highest tiers for boss maps. They think putting more boss nodes onto the map will improve the problem but they also, if you can ♥♥♥♥♥♥ believe it, nerfed waystone sustain by 50% to compensate. Lol.
