If you have never tried HC, give it a shot. It's like another game, It's adrenaline and much more dopamine.
You spent 1000$ on poe 2 ? How ?
Guess what nobody has played since but me ... .2 too much for all of em except for the sucker. Me. :(
This always sucks, I don't just mean POE, this happens all the time in mmos. It has happened to me.
You get super into a game and make a guild and spend a bunch of money to create a'home' for you and you friends... 2 months later, something happens where everyone stops playing. Fast forward, you end up with a fully stocked and upgraded guild you use as a personal bank or end up donating the space to some other guild you ended up in.
le sad face
Story, art, characters, voice acting are all pretty cool. Loved the difference of attitude between the monk and then witch.
Trying some new skill, maybe seeing a new unique drop.
I like the combat, it’s relaxing, involved enough to distract from life thoughts, but not so complex and challenging to be stressful or require extreme focus.
So I guess the secret to enjoyment for me is to play casually, meaning when I feel like it without the mental burden of chasing some specific goal.
And I don’t watch streamers, because I’m not interested in what they accomplish and don’t want to subconsciously set expectations.
Having well over 1k games on Steam and a huge backlog, why stress and overplay a single one?
You don’t seem to have financial problems, so why not do the same? Put PoE on a rotation with other games to enjoy with your family.
It’s normal for pleasures to get boring -and then disgusting- when overindulging.
This sounds like asking: I’m eating chocolate cake 3 times every day, how can I keep enjoying it like the first time? You can’t.
Even if the game reverted to 0.1 which you liked more, even if it started showering loot and new uniques every day forever, it would still get boring in the end.
And no way I would spend another dollar on this game
its a garbage game with cheapskate copy/paste AI design and well....
just got expedition 33 today and i guess i will scrap poe2 and will never come back.
they failed to deliver anything fun for months. 0.1 was best.
