For example, in PoE1, mechanics like Betrayal, Bestiary, Delve, and Harvest were all very enjoyable and added a lot of depth to the game.
I hope PoE2 can offer a similar level of variety and long-term engagement.
I'm not interested in spending most of my end game looking at a web page.
So if we are being realistic I'm never coming back to PoE2, but that's what it would take.
They had the ARPG sweet victory offered to them on a silver platter
They only needed to remake POe1 keeping the good mechanics and reworking the bad ones
They instead scrapped it all and try to reinvent everything

•having quest perks like resists, spirit ,etc apply to all your characters within a league
• all skill gems have a level 1 version. Either directly available or through gem downgrade currency
- better balance the game to no be about 1 shots once again
- offer better sink for stuff that drops
• rune can be used as reagent while spawning a map, the nature of the rune affects the nature of the modifiers added and items dropped . Want better odds of finding items with life? Use the life rune when spawning a map
• bring back alteration through a crafting bench recipe that costs lots of transmutes
- get rid of the stupid weapon over restriction on skills. This stupid ass ♥♥♥♥ kills build diversity. Players will be mad when they learn that cyclone is sword only
- get rid of the stupid class restriction on ascendencies, open them to everybody

From my personal experience, some of these changes have significantly impacted gameplay. For example, the combination of Spark + Archmage + Eldritch Battery feels particularly underwhelming — with 2900 mana, I can only cast Spark about nine times, and the damage has also been nerfed. I haven’t tested all the other nerfed skills or passives, but I believe many builds have been rendered unviable, which limits the diversity that was once a hallmark of the game.
In version 1.0, I found myself repeatedly playing T15 and T16 maps. I think it would greatly enhance POE2 if some of the legacy league mechanics from POE1 — such as Betrayal, Bestiary, Delve, and Harvest — could be reintroduced. These systems added a lot of depth and variety to the endgame, and bringing them back would make POE2 much more engaging.
- until you fix defenses to where it's not just energy shield that works, none of the bosses should have ANY move that deals one-shot leathal damage unless max-capped on res; especially shouldnt be the case for normal campaign bosses in particular (or random white mobs just as you leave the first area). These mechanics may be not significant on characters power-leveling due to having levelup gear or ranged characters sporting the latest and greatest broken-meta-build but they're just pain in the ass and not fun for everyone else. It's especially bad when you nerf our movement/dodge speed (due to armor) and also require us to dodge out of death every time, complete nonsense, you have to be actively expecting it and moving out before they even start the moves. Meanwhile range is completely free.
- less restrictions on supports and skills. Theme isn't that great when everything is so themed there's only 2-3 ways to use them instead of freedom of expression, especially early on feels like your choices might as well we counted on 3-4 fingers
- if you're going to balance around trade and some crazy assumption everyone is a trade maniac then give SSF something, since the balance is terrible with you doing that as some requirement to play and treating SSF as if its some "unplayable league"
- if you want us to use combos then make combos always start with something that is decent vs trash mobs and 2nd and 3rd are bonuses on top of that; nobody wants to do a dance in front of the monsters before they have to do damage or "first give the mobs the chance to beat you up, and then you can hit them hard". Combos aren't bad, all your ideas for combos, are just bad currently
- if you want to make a ruthless style game then make that a mode OR give us a "classic" mode instead; honestly removing everything being currency and no gold feels like a downgrade from poe1.... gold is boring
I guess I'll try the new patch and see if they fixed the loot issue at least.
i too would like a Auction House tho they have said lots of times they won't do it i still hope they will at some point
