Left click not registering sometimes?

For like 5 seconds sometimes the left click just won't register. It's gotten me killed multiple times and is highly annoying. Hasn't happened till this new patch. Kinda frustrating. No the mouse is not broken. I went and tested by clicking on a line of text and highlighting it for about 5 minutes straight and not once did it stop working, where as in PoE2 it would stop multiple times within that same time frame.
