I was going to come back since the patch before this recent as introduced the new class etc.. but honestly i looked at it and thought.. its the same thing as my monk really.. who dominates literally everything anyways so whats the point in going back for the sake of a new class.. and then the recent patch came out and that sorta cemented it as the changelog seems to be kinda massive so i kinda already know that my previous characters are more than likely kinda screwed and are going to require multiple respecs.. which i cant be asked with honestly, would take too long of a time.. maybe when they fix the patch currently and there's less issues overall i will.. but then again there's so many games out now that ive been downloading recently.. i may not ever come back, eh i mean never say never, i suppose i will in the future but as it stands now there's just so many good games released and yeah as for Last Epoch i played that on release too.. so totally get it.
Also we have a new expansion being released soon for Grim Dawn as well.. and that game is endlessly massive as is.. so will only get better. =)
They come to POE2 and spam global chat about "LE so much better" and how "POE2 is the worst".

The Sunday prior to the LE launch had 200K people online.
The Sunday following the LE launch saw the player base decline by half, almost 100,000 people left.
That's a pretty precipitous drop, and within 2 days of it launching we lost around 40k people.
I would say thays pretty significant. But correlation isn't causation so maybe the season is so bad that 100K people just quit in a week out of frustration.
Agreed, it isn't perfect but the fact that devs are making tweaks based on feedback is a good trend.
