Steam deck performance optimization

I would personally love to see a graphics downgrade option for the steam deck but unfortunately it runs so poorly i cannot recommend it at the moment.

Hopefully the devs can cater to handheld at some point

bro go play pokemon, not every game has to be a mobile game. this game has priority for actual gamers and has 0 reason to be a pokemon game or even want to reach that target audiance

This game barely runs properly on mid to high systems at most times. Of course the performance on the Steam Deck is going to be bad.

getting drop to 50fps with people and 70fps in solo in end game map with a 9800x3d and 5080 on 1080p dlss quality not even max settings, so yea you can forget poe 2 on steam deck

Before the Dawn of the Hunt updates I can play this game with minimal performance issues on my steam deck but now it's really showing that it's unoptimized.

I hope the devs will make a downgrade version (graphics / skill effects) of this on handhelds as we don't need stunning graphics. Steam deck is very capable device like I was able play and finish Elden Ring using it.
