Game crashing with error: Attempted to resume pathing action with an invalid skill: ...

Hello,
I'm currently facing an issue regarding an error-message crashing my game whilest trying to load into a map.
I Played a +3 map and before I could kill the map boss, my game crashed with the error message:
"Attempted to resume pathing action with an invalid skill: 2148073472
object:
Metadat/Monsters/SerpentClanMonster/SerpantClanCasterBossMap@67"

Every time I try to log back onto the character, the game crashed with the exact same error-message.
Some user in the "PoE Bug Reports Thread" mentioned that he could solve the error when changing to another server location. I tried to switch the servers from Frankfurt to Japan, Amsterdam and something in the US, but it didn't change anything regarding the error message.

Can anybody help me out with this error or is there any way to unstuck my character from an endgame map?

It is not worth it anyway. It will be fun in a year, maybe, but probably not since last patch took away all fun from POE2

It should help you to save wasting time of make this beta game work and go do something else.

Found the fix for the issue.
You need to turn off your game for 20 - 30 minutes for the instance to reload. As far as I read that happens after around 15 minutes.

If the enemy is on a map that can and will be reset after 15-20 minutes, it should probably work for you aswell.

You dont have to wait you can just log into a different server then change the server back.

In game you can just find the entrance to a map, press Ctrl+Left Click to pull up a menu & load a new instance that way.

The crash happens after selecting your character and before fully spawning into the world. In my case I only saw the name of the map and after a few seconds the game crashed with the mentioned error message.

You're right that would be possible, but the problem with this exact bug is that you cannot load into the game. Rip sorry dude, I am also running into a bug that is crashing my game when entering a map (Jungle Ruins) I'm not getting any errors tho just straight crash to desktop. I've been checking these discussions for a few days looking if people found a fix.

One thing that helped temporarily was a reinstall of the game. Instead of crashing 20 feet into the map, I was able to find a waypoint before crashing again. I did see one possible fix from people is to download the Launcher from the poe2 website and play that way.

So i was able to fix my issue last night with deleting my cache files and shaders. However! It caused massive CPU throttling and almost unplayable state. After reloading the same issue persisted. And spring forward today trying to login. Same message. I made sure to logout in act 2 hub. It definitely is something drastically wrong with the update.

What are you not understanding. The issue is with the instance you are trying to load into which is why waiting fixes it. Instances are reset every 8 to 15 minuets. You can fix it by just joining another server without waiting for the map to reset. This will load you into another instance because its a different server. You can change servers from the login screen before you load into the level or your character.

This isnt always true. The forums on their website show people having this error typically from Act 2 caravan. It is linked to some pet of some sort. Also, It is happening in the jungle area also for some. The last patch caused a brick effect.
