Unable to kill rathbreaker
From bad to worse, I hope that GGG will fix that quickly.

I had encountered that bug too, he ignores you, retires in his default position/pose and becomes immortal.

Impossible as Mage, spaw too many enemies and i die, cant get off them.

lol you were trying to bug the boss by staying below him, its not a bug but a feature to stop you luring him to the base camp and the guards, stop trying to cheat the game systems.
You need to fight him on his platform.

you need to stay at this small platform, this is the combat area ... if you leave that small areal / arena, boss returns

It'a a bug, he returns to his initial place and becomes irresponsive (and immune to damage or at least with regen through the roof). I had to restart the whole thing.
