Ryzen 7 7800X3D temp

I have R7 7800X3D and in this game my CPU heats up to 90 degrees when loading a location and up to 80 in the location itself. Although it passes the usual stress tests and everything is ok in other games. Is it game problem?

I have the same CPU and I never get temps that high. Ever.

I have the same CPU and the temps are as high as ever with POE2 75C and I have water cooling, so is not just you.

PC problem. Invest in better cooling.

Try locking to 90 or get better cooling. My 5800x3D is the same.

Cooling problem, try and reseat your cooler and if that does not help upgrade to something better.
Always test your PC in prime95 and cinebench to check if you have sufficient CPU cooling.

7950x3d CPU reach at 100% usage during load max 74°C.
i would assume your cooling is bad.

Do u have FPS lock? i have 240 fps on location and 77C, but when lock to 90 fps my temp down to 59

I check in OCCT and AIDA64. Max was 86C

Yeah I have it locked at 90. Game has some terrible cpu optimization
