Do not start with the "there will never be an in game auction" responses. I've been playing PoE since 2013 I've heard it all. But there is zero reason not to have an in game tradehouse. Spending an hour messaging afkers and scammers just to finally get a single item is the opposite of fun. It is a chore and keeps people from playing. NO OTHER EFFING GAME DOES THIS. Just add an automated tradehouse ffs! it changes nothing except making the game more fun and efficient.

It 1000% needs to happen. PoE has the worst online trading of any game ever. There is not a single legit reason for them to not do it.

the non china version is exactly as you say. the chinese version of POE1 has an ingame auction. when POE2 is in full release i assume the same will happen to their china client.

It really is the worst way I can imagine doing it. Pulling me out of the immersion of the game to go be a data processor is whacko.

Devs are strongly against that, because they love 'live interactions' even is it's worst possible trade method

I've been playing PoE1 since 2013 and have now been playing PoE2 since day one. For PoE1 I had already described a good idea for GGG, which would have minimized callbots and made ingame trading possible. There seems to be no interest on the part of GGG to implement an ingame trading option without player contact and long waiting times. I have therefore stopped playing PoE now. No interest on the part of GGG... I'm too old for that, so no more interest on my part! If there's an in-game trading option, I'll be back.
