Why Spears have one attack animation?

All weapon have 2 attack animations, from left side to right side, and vice versa.
I thought spear would have some combo style 3 attack animation, with longer range attack on third attack, shaolin style on one leg with full extention of the spear, because of dumb animation now it feels like i play some generic mobile game.

Did you expect to use a spear attack as a ranged attack then? Use spear throw. Thats quite literally why its there. Theres a thing called dodge if you don't want to get hit.

you're confusing spear with bo staff or a halbard.

spears are literally only designed to poke, you don't swing a spear around.

spears come in all shapes and sizes, there is even one made specifically for attacking Brit's knees. Does CRAZY amounts of damage. Very toxic.

TIL Dark Souls has been lying to me my whole life and the Partizan in that series is not actually a Partisan Spear at all
