Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2

GGG will go the same way as old Blizzard, Bioware and CO
If they don't start listening to their core community, they will go from loved to be hated forever as all the other once goated devs like Blizzard, Bioware, Bethesda and CO. It seems like Jonathan and Mark are surrounded by "Yes men" and dont get any criticism from their employees anymore. Some stuff they put into their game is so laughable not viable at all that you really start to wonder how the ♥♥♥♥ it ended up in the game. The anvil for example. No way they play test their game anymore. GGG has to wake the ♥♥♥♥ up now or it will be too late.

Wrong. GGG is owned by China. Those other companies you mention went political and catered the woke western culture BS. China makes games for gamers and don't care for the lgbtq+ crowd.

WoW sucked BECAUSE they listened too much to their core community.

All those companies have very different problems, I don't even know what point you're trying to make

Someone IRL has to go their office and meet with Jonathan and talks about it

That they will end up as a hated company.

Well Chris left and he's the reason the game was amazing right?

What people need to accept is that PoE1 players aren't the core community for PoE2. Despite what the whiners will say, GGG do intend to keep both games running. Both games are for different types of players. Sure there is some overlap, but the PoE1 zoom players aren't part of it.

From now on, my main criteria for buying a game are the developer's reputation and whether they listen to community feedback. Even if the game is perfect, if it doesn’t meet these standards, it’s a hard pass.

Chris is still at GGG, though, as the Managing Director -- basically, he's stepped back from game development (which he mostly wasn't doing anyway) to focus on running the business side of the business - so him leaving did nothing

Wrong. He left GGG for good. He has no role at GGG anymore.

Haha I don't like either of them :)
I did like 2 more then 1 though but not enough to keep playing it. They may very well be for different crowds but they are only focusing on 2, poe1 player count has fallen so it doesn't seem like a good design choice.... not my problem though I wish them luck.

I was in the top100 during season 1 and made one of the best quarterstaffs in the game. I am always swimming in currency. I have no issue with hard games at all. What i dont like is a tedious slog fest that feels bad and unfun because only a hand full of skills is viable.
