Make sure you take your support gems off your shield/buckler when selling
Just sold my buckler which had a support gem on it and the gem no longer exists, poofed from existence.

If you equip weapons/shields that come with a SKILL, you can add SUPPORTS to them. Hes saying that the SUPPORTS do not go to your inventory if you sell the gear.
