Help me understand the hate

I'm honestly curious to know why and from where is all the hate coming? Summarize it for me please.

I had a lvl 95 Spark Archmage (with 200k dps) last league and yes, is useless now, even so that i deleted the char. Didn't complaint even once, it was in fact OP and anti-fun at some point.

Is the game hard now? Easier? Cause tbh im killing bosses way faster now (maybe we all know the game core at this point).

But whats the real problem with the new patch? The Nerfs? The slow pace?

We got a new league wich means a new economy wich for me is one of the worst things about the game alongside with the "crafting" system, but nothing that an auction house can't resolve if GGG are willing to do that.
New mechanics, class (wich i tried and hate), gems, bosses, thigns to do, etc.

So yeah...

Not here to farming points. Im genuinely curious to that what's REALLY happening.

In short, it's noty really hate, more like dissapointment, from what I collected.
People were expecting 0.2 will make game better and I guess for most people it made game worse.
At least that's what I understood from the steam forum.

PoE 1 players throwing a tantrum because for some reason they think PoE 2 should be exactly the same as PoE 1... even though PoE 1 is right there.

The Performance hate was deserved, but that seems much better now.

I think the biggest problem is the low end of early game is very highly tuned.
The difference between a lucky weapon drop and no drops is as wide as borderline unplayable to easy mode.
There are a lot of newer players still playing that are not used to the older arpg ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

They ignored player feedback. Game turns out to be even more boring. Players let hell loose. Some even refund. Playercount dropping like crazy. Everyone loses. But its deserved on the devs side.

my 1m damage per cast archmage character went down to 100k-ish per cast, i invested so much time and effort into building that character, just for them to utterly destroy it, and nerf all the build defining items with it by 50% or more, they killed PoE1 for this mess.....

and the fact that this game has close to 0 ways of actually crafting gear, (the omen was 12k exalts last time i opened the game?????????)

I don`t like this version what pisses me of the most in the stat requirement for gems i`ve got level 6-7 gems I can`t even use all of my gear is 10 levels lower than I am so the game plays like ♥♥♥♥ I just finished act 2 and i see Zero improvements with this patch. The Huntress tree is boring most of the skills feel terrible to use while levelling at least. The crafting and Trading are the worse in any game pretty much. GGG need to sort this mess out.

Did you play on Friday or Saturday? Because until the update 0.2b last night the game was rediculous to just kill white mobs. The patch last night has totally changed the pace of the game ( qll minion health effectively nerfed)

I will explain why it is trash.

We can't roll through enemies still.
They slowed the game down even more to the point of being tedious.
They did not shorten the maps at all.


The pacing is bad, the combat feels unrewarding along with the drops, and the best part? It is tedious boring


I mean just look at Armor, they act like they don't know wtf to do with it when we all know it is trash.

There is still glaring problems with the damge scaling of skills ( just basic weapon attacks currently do more damage ) and minion builds have taking an absolute hammering ( but we adapt its a new l3ague )
