you can eventually get combat frenzy aura and get your charges without needing to parry. pretty stupid system though
Also we could delete game for such game design :) Works well.
Devs should realize that they CANT do game close to soulslike in ARPG style.

this with maces to, dps wise auto attack spam just wins.
your telling be NOTHING new. i know that and i can do that. As i said its playable. But the amount of effort you need to pull things off compared to ranged characters is TOTALY OFF BALANCE.
even with "perfect parries"
there is still an animation that plays when you raise your buckler to parry, an animation that plays when you parry, a long as heck animation for disengage for the frenzy charge, into the long animation for the payoff skill. . .
so piano 3-5 buttons perfectly every time or just hold one and do more dps. . .

even rake spam does more dps then combos by just taking the aggravated bleed keystone passive. . .
yep warrior is playable but again the EFFORT you need to put into is totlay OFF BALANCE compared to range characters. Its not even NEAR the effort of a ranged character.
Not saying huntress is perfect or anything and they should give more tools to get charges since they build the whole character around them, but i am enjoying my warrior.
It's not making a good skill better, it's just making a terrible skill perform ok.
And the whole in/out melee/range hybrid playstyle idea is doomed from the start simply due to action economy. The travel and set up time is just not worth it at base. And then you throw all of the additional time you waste by having to play around mechanics on top of that.
The temp bubble, floor is lava rare doesn't give ashit about your attempts to combo. Neither do 80% of the boss movesets.
