ok bye
that wasn't a comment, that was a question.
By level 10 I already had my tornadoes behaving like Spark. They are incredibly fast, and I figured out some neat combos to do super damage. Whirling Slash and Tornado is part of the combo I am using, with another part of the combo being Frost Fangs (whatever the Ice Stab attack is at skill gem 3). Toss a Glaciation on there to get more freezing chances.
Use whirling slash 3 or 4 times to get a big storm going, and while standing in it, start stabbing monsters with Ice Fang attack, that will freeze the monsters, turning your Whirling Slash into an Ice attack. then you can use Tornado to launch 3 or 4 tornadoes that do massive damage. You can always leave the Whirling Slash for a large explosion as well, which can work well with Disengage. Whirling Slash also picks up elements from monsters it is hitting, and numerous times I have done incredible damage to rares, using their own elements against them.
Also, Parry is great combo with Ice Fang, as it will also create the conditions for Whirling Slash to turn to Ice, and it will shatter a frozen enemy. Parry + Disengage work great as well. I put Lacerate support gem on my Whirling Slash so that it also makes the monsters Bleed, and then I put Bloodlust support gem on Disengage to give it 25% more damage to bleeding monsters, as well as I add the support gem that increases Area of Effect (Magnified Effect or something like that).
For the first few monsters/areas/bosses, I struggled as I was still getting used to the Huntress and how the attacks worked. So I put a skill gem on each skill and started testing out each attack, trying to figure out which combination I was going to use. As I was trying Lightning Spear, Exploding Spear, Frost Fang and Rake, I realized that I liked the previous attacks better (Whirling Slash, Tornado, Parry and Disengage), I also liked the Ice Fang one for an upclose stab attack, as it can add elemental damage to the slash.
Long story short, I just needed to spend some time familiarizing myself with the skills, and now I am really happy that I did as I am loving the new class. I played Spark + Flame Wall last season (a build I made myself), and I decided that I would try the Huntress first, as the combinations looked truly amazing. And I am so happy that I didn't throw in the towel. :)
