Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2

LOW FPS What the hell!
Why have I had low FPS for 3 weeks now, I can't play in principle, if I go out to the mobs it will be 25 fps!! When this is fixed, 2 updates have already been released!! What the hell! Previously, I had 140+ fps, now I have 25, maximum 40 in the city.

I tried literally every possible option, even disabling something in the bios.Absolutely no 1 way helps. This is a problem in the game.Because in other games I have absolutely no problems with fps.

no, not a single change of settings in the game will help, any configuration in the game simply does not give almost any increase in performance. The problem lies precisely in the game itself, it is broken.I play Marvel Rivels, I have 140+ fps there...

Ah so it's not just me then. Tried to hop in last night, haven't played much in the last month or 2, came back and the game lags every time I start getting into combat. Using Nvidia performance overlay I can see the FPS is about 120, but the 99th frame keeps dropping down to 10fps so something revolving around combat and/or how the client-server communicates with each other when mob aggro is triggered. I can run around a map at 120fps and a high 99th frame rate but the second I aggro something it gets real choppy.

This has been happening to a lot of people and there seems to be no concrete explanation or workaround. Two of my friends have had it since they first played the game and it happened to me about a month ago. Super smooth gameplay with 120-165 fps then, BOOM, lag and stutter. Thought I'd fixed it after changing PhysX from Auto to GPU, but it came back again several days later.

All of us stopped playing and were waiting to see if this patched fixed anything. Obviously it hasn't, so we're not coming back at this time.

Seems to be working fine for me now, whatever my specific issue was I think it was server side, possibly the servers getting overloaded as I also had a server error trying to enter the first town which disconnected me and then trying to log back in with that character, thus trying to enter the town with each login attempt, resulted in the same server error and crash to desktop.

Sorry you guys are having persistent issues, hope you get a fix soon.

turn of nvidia reflex, use vulkan instead of dx12, it solved it for me, 160 fps atm, 70 in town
I do not know what happened, I launched the game through the exe file PathOfExile_x64Steam changed to direct 11, the game offered to restart the client.I've logged in and now have 75+ fps...absolute nonsense

I am leaning on a DLSS issue, since nVidia has botched later drivers and developers had to "work around" them.

Had same issues as you. Turning Reflex off fixed my FPS, but then was getting an error, so I went with the guess that the Item Serialization error is related to the DLSS pipeline.

I switched to NIS + No Upscale and game works as before the patch for me.

It's almost unplayable for me, and I'm pushing a 5080
