Every game in development does this. And even after launch live service games do this. Guns get nerfed in call of duty every patch and new season.
I mean bruv you're complaining that you had to respec after a balance update. Maybe you should stick to games that have offline campaigns only and are not longer getting updated.
That doesnt mean hes not new to POE and apparently live service games in general otherwise he would know every single content update in POE history has changed balance.
As for poe2.
I understand the game is in development and is subject to change before its official release. This is true for like pretty much every game in existence. However when you put out a game in my opinion whether the game devs know it or not or agree with me or not and the players as well. You set basically an expectation of how that game is played or is to be played and or how it actually feels to play it.
However with all due respect to all players and to the devs own credit. The game play is radically different so much so that if i could I would ask for a refund. But i am sure some people will stick it out. I am not as powerful as one poster on here that claimed to have had a prenerf 1.4mil dps spark mage and post nerf had 140K dps and that i am sure he could one shot even high end bosses no problem prenerfed.
But for me I had to grind my ass off to kill level 87 bosses without being nerfed which i could do and was willing to do and sometimes i did fail on some bosses since i am not a pro player by any means and it was still challenging for me. The reason for quitting is that i dont see myself being able to do any of the high end content at all as a casual player of the game. I also feel that this will be true for many other casual players as they will probably feel the same way.
My final thoughts are that i feel like i've been scammed / bait and switched because of the extreme changes and nerfs and now the game does not play anything like what i had experienced. This is just my own thoughts on the matter. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I wish everyone the best of luck if you stick it out as for me i'm not making a new character at all for the leagues.
Edit: God forbid how upset you're gonna be when you lose your early access character when the game releases. Might need to rethink your post bro, everything just points to it being a you problem.
