Instant crash to desktop
I just crash to desktop without even an error message.
The logfile says 'Oodle failed to decompress' as final message
I changed to vulkan, to DX12, to windowed mode, Global Illumination off, on, it doesn't matter.
Is it over?

delete your config file (its saved, even though you uninstall)... something is happening where its causing crashes...

default location:

C:\Users\"name of your pc"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile 2

Even fully reinstalling isn't working for me unfortunally

its because uninstalling does not erase the config file... it saves it. As a result, you have to manually erase it yourself.

default location:

C:\Users\"name of your pc"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile 2


Something is happening where the config file is doing something to cause mass crashes to multiple systems and people.

I juste used steam to verify the integrity of my installation , it found 4 corrupted files. It seems to work now

i did the verifying integrity of my installation but its still crashing on my side

To be clear I did both the verifying integrety and delete the config file

I tried file validation and it found 26 issues, apparently the new updates corrupt the install folder and require the property/verify file integrity in order to repair the broken mess they caused.

Edit: I just tested the game and it works now, the file verification process worked in my case.
