If you're getting this error and have an NVIDIA 30xx series card, downgrade drivers to 566.45, and turn off upscaling.

A few things reduced crashing for me:

1. Disable nvidia reflex under Graphics -> Advanced (This seemed to fix frame drop for me)
2. Switch from Vulcan to DirectX12
3. Disable item filter
4. If can't even login to a character (crash loop) then delete "poe2_production_Config.ini". Note this resets all your game and interface settings. The file is located in "[users]\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile 2"

What helped me was creating a new Huntress and playing through to Clearfell. Then, from Clearfell, go to the first waypoint and switch to the crashing character.
