Just got the same thing here after leaving the first area.

same, i get a popup saying unknown object type serialized by server then the game closes. its happened twice in 5 minutes

Cheers, this did the fix for me. Just note it will reset all of your in-game settings.

If you are on Linux like me, the path is (for native Steam, not flatpak): /.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/2694490/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/My Games/Path of Exile 2

For Linux users, I recommend linking to that location in your documents folder or something for easier access if this happens again.

Yup, literally just crashed again lol. I think I will just wait for a fix at this point.

remove your items filter if u have 1 set, fixed the serialized item error for me.
