Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2

It's not in Early Access anymore. This a fully released game now.
They have said they are treating POE2 as a full released game now. It's not in EA anymore with how they are scared of player backlash.

It is not a me problem. I see, all over place - " I don't like this."

Even the top players are having a hard time with player retention.

Whining? Complaints? Constructive feedback? Criticism? What should we call it?

There's nothing wrong with the population that always comes back every new Patch (League). But the point here is is that hundreds of thousands of players are just f*cking gone.

There's more people that do not like things than do.

They don't like the pacing, progression, Trials, D4-like strong builds, crap build garbage balancing, other Defenses suck, always an inflated Trade economy system, out of game trading.....

The list goes on and on and on and on.

This is not EA anymore. I really wish they would treat as such.

It's still EA. IDK why you think otherwise. The top players are fine with how the game is at large. They are disappointed they can't bear to stream it for 4 months between major updates though, but that is normal with POE. They are making changes to the endgame much slower than people wish. but that's what EA is for. if you want a full game, then wait until it's out. It's okay to wait. You don't need to play it when it's "EA garbage" just because it's shiny and new. You can wait until the game is effectively finished and then decide if it's still hot garbo or not.
another one that think game dev is pressing 2 buttons and completed game will magically appear :lunar2019crylaughingpig:
They absolutely did not say it's not EA anymore; they said that the playerbase wasn't happy with the balance being treated like an EA game--with lots of regular patches and fixes--so they were pivoting toward the big patch seasonal balance model to deal with that unhappiness instead of lots of regular balance adjustments. It is still in every way early access.
Lol it is very much still in Early Access. They literally just said that there is a 60% chance that the game will be fully released by the end of the year, and if not then, most likely by March 2026. December 2025 would be if they manage to meet all their deadlines in the strict schedule they have carved out for themselves.

..."treating" it doesn't mean "it is...

If I treat you like my wife doesn't mean you actually are my wife...
It is EA. Your entire premise behind it not being EA is pure BS.

Your grasp of the english language is disappointing at best, laughable at worst
Nope, still EA. No matter your grandstanding and excuses.

Beta trying to be alpha. Pretty laughable.

literally the exact opposite of what jonathan said.

to paraphrase - he said:
They will fix and change 10000 broken things and busted builds next early access patch,
and then hopefully the patch after they needs to fix 5000, then the patch after 1000 so when it finally leaves early access it will only have a handful of broken and busted things.

tl;dr - he said it ain't ready to leave early access
