Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2

Anyone else go back into PoE 2 and forget why you created various characters?
Do we almost need some sort of tooltip comment we can add for the character selection, to remind ourselves of the build and/or the reason we created these characters?

I have 3 sorceresses, 3 witches, and 1 ranger, monk and warrior. I have no idea who was doing what or which I preferred playing. lol. (I'm sure others have it even worse)

I might load each, and make some notes elsewhere of what skills and gear they have and decide to delete or keep now, given it's not a full mandatory transition to the new version with the new content.

What to do, what to do. :steamfacepalm:

Login and look at their stats sheet and equipped gems, 30 seconds or so per character max... If dementia,, can't be helped as you are doomed no matter what.

I won't be bothered anyway, all EA characters are pointless and abandoned once launch happens. POE 2 will have website character sheets by then just like poe 1. Even for poe 1, I just purge almost every characters since you have to play from scratch per new league and rarely play in standard.

Lol. Well, it's not really amusing, but yes, I'm actually wary about Dementia, due to my mother having had it. I'm certainly senior enough for it to start being a factor, but will see how it goes.

Regardless, I've always had issues in ARPG's in doing this...and never really did it well in PoE 1 or Diablo's, so again, I'll have to make choices. I just don't want to get rid of higher level chars that can at least see and appreciate the endgame changes, or be so close to ascending to try them out.

for POE 1 , on start of a new league, I go through all my old characters, strip anything of value off of them, and just merely delete them.

Right now for POE 2, I just have some characters holding some names I like and 3 that I actually play. Pretty much every one of them will be deleted on April 4th.

Create a folder for poe2 in your games folder, add a new folder for every build, add anything in there (i suggest a passive tree planner image) and use the character name as the file name.

lol that's too much effort for a very large majority of players but I love the idea
