Path of Exile 2

The Bosses here are amazing!
Yes, this is purely a bit of positive feedback. I am about to finish Cruel Act 3 with my bro and proceed to the endgame, and so far I've completely enjoyed playing these acts. One of the biggest motivations to play more were the bosses for me, they are really unique, visually incredible, with awesome soundtrack themes and VFX. Yes, some of them might require a bit balancing, because some are very strong and dangerous, and some are always getting down in the first try. But! Nonetheless I hope devs won't turn them in faceless damage sponges like in the rest aRPGs.
Who is your favourite, guys?
For me it's all three Act bosses (without spoilers) and...
Act 1: The Devourer (visually cool, even though he is easy)
Act 2: Azarian, the Forsaken Son (dialog with his mother is great, boss-fight is ok, and scene with his mother after it is also very memorizable)
Act 3: Mektul, the Forgemaster (his location is insanely atmospheric and the fight itself is very original).

The banging on the sluice gate for the Forgemaster was just such a chefs kiss moment. How it reverberated through the entire area and the closer you got the more curious you get to see what the blazes is making that racket.

The molten gold flowing through the level leading to the boss was a nice touch too.

Even though I don't actually like fighting her, I think the azak bog witch is hilarious. The way she zips around on her broomstick and immolates everything. Kinda cool and different fight.

Of course, the gross obese lady in the apex of filth too. Rises from her sludge bath and squirts blood out of her nipple. Disgusting.
I agree with BulletJustice and Bob about Forgemaster's features and ambient.
And about Bog Witch... Well, this is a very beautiful and dynamic boss-fight, but we somehow always killed her with a first try. Barely broke a sweat :D
Aaand "disgusting" is absolutely fitting word for Queen of Filth. She really is disgusting, but in a way it proves that her disign does the job of causing an emotion.

I feel the same way. And...

For the campaign, I'm also satisfied with the diversity in the enemies in general. With that, a character must face off against all sorts of challenges, from being quick enough with damage output to handle self-detonating suicide monsters, swiftness to prioritize resurrecting necromancers, resilience to handle large volume of projectiles, and so on. The bar isn't very high, but its enough to promote some variance in how to play the game from moment to moment.

Regular monsters deserve some highlight too, like these two:

That icy disappearing ghost in the Act 3 area with the gem (the Mechanarium?)
-Memorable because it behaves like a wrathful ghost, with a mechanic to evade projectiles in a unique way (vanish and relocate when it would be hit while not charging its attack), and its attacks can be very dangerous

Rocky rolling beetles in Act 2
-While pathetically weak (I have not felt threatened by them due to near-zero damage), their destructible rocky armor will shatter when hitting walls, player-made or natural. Its memorable with the Sonic-the-Hedgehog style attack.

I appreciate that the bosses share the variety that monsters have. And this is just half of what's coming.

Heavy plus, mate, I like many regular monsters too! From Maudun miners, throwing dynamite upon the player, to shielded undead in crypts of Act 1.
