yep these naysayers will be negative nancies and act like you have to be top %2 of all builds to be worth playing. In practice just looking at other players in game there is far more build diversity here, and I rarely encounter extremely op players using those uber builds even at level 80+

I cant find my build on a guide, its pretty basic, but for example i dont use HoWA and I definitely out-dps a lot of players trying to (my gloves still give 1-80 ish lightning damage anyway, and I dont have or need 80+ int)

Different ways to do X, Y, or Z builds around different archtypes / classes.


IE: I can do a gemling legionnaire minion-build or infernalist minion-build. They look very different, not just in the character model but in how their ascendency supports skills.


This is on top of other unique Path of Exile 2 features others have already mentioned.

More challenging campaign. Better end game. Better bosses. Other than that, yeah d4 is pretty fun too. Just really falls off when you can Uber farm and then realize all there's left now with your mythics and finished build is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pits? Really? Pits????? Zzzzzz

Have you seen d4's numbers? Hell the new season just started a couple weeks ago and steam numbers (since you wanna only mention steam) are like one tenth of poe2's steam numbers. An early access game that's been out for 2 months with no new content yet. It's actually a pretty fun game, you should try it out. D4s fun too though if that's what you're into. Not knocking it either, but it has very few players for a reason.

D4 is not considered as an arpg but as a *Clown D3 Community* game which become what it become from release to today. ♥♥♥♥ community ♥♥♥♥ game nothing strange here.
You will always earn what u deserve either in rl or ingame. so life works sadly.
Enjoy D3 endgame max lvl60 be in endgame in 2 hours and play this loot copy-pasta simulator.

thats how you dont feel like youre playing the same game from lvl 1-100, you literally just do the same ♥♥♥♥ over n over in d4 and it gets old quickly. the gameplay is gr8, probably y they added dodge roll to poe2

I agree, at least dont make it so obvious if theres a skip because it made it feel like im wasting my time playing through the campaign because im sure the majority of players probably are skipping

what? in D4 you have every season multiple builds but yeah talk more....poe1 and poe2 surely has a huge skilltree but everyone has to take same nodes because if not you suck...poe could just remove 90% of the skilltree and nothing would change lmao
