Item highlighting problem with controller input method

Ever since the last patch, while playing the game on controller, my item highlighting will turn off. I assume there is a button combination I am hitting or it's a glitch. Regardless, randomly my items will just stop showing and I can't fix it without changing my input method to exitting, switching to keyboard and mouse and playing that way because then I can hit the shortcut (z) to make my items appear again. I really like to play this game with my controller and this has ruined the game for me. It's unplayable in its current state, as I don't want to play a game based on picking up items if randomly I'm going to miss all of the items on the map because of this item highlight thing.

are you using a lootfilter? perhaps there lies the problem.

No, no loot filters. I don't have any loot filters, not even any downloaded

I figured it out. The last patch added item highlighting to the controllers shortcuts (left trigger dpad right). Which I think is a pretty stupid idea, but I got rid of it so I don't accidently turn my items off when I use a potion during a battle while accidently holding LT which is what must have happened. Yeah. D tier move guys. Have a nice day
