The problem with the black bars
After yesterday's update, the game started launching with black bars. It appears when you connect the gamepad, on the keyboard and mouse everything is normal.
Maybe there is a solution?

I have them now even w/o gamepad. I guess it's resolution issue. I run the game on 1680x1050. Didn't have black bars before the update tho. Feelsbad

Hope so. But when I asked any AAA games(don't remember much, but for example RE8 had black bars problem on my aspect ratio) support staff on helping me with this issue, they just ignored me and it never got patched :D

If they don't fix it, I'm just going to stop playing this game

Games are complicated, a fixed issue might introduce other issues on select stations. Because the variety of hardware and software is so large, creating perfect code is difficult. And diagnostics of issues happens slowly. If you want it fixed go to their forum instead of steam discussions to propel the fixing of your issue.

I have permission 1920x1200 (16:10)
before the update yesterday, everything was fine. And as a rule it's all castles and will not work stably. But thanks for the option, if they don't solve the problem, I will have to use it.

Yeah, apparently they have a problem with the 16:10 aspect ratio
