"Validating Files............"

See title, this is the only thing displaying in the "Download" section of Steam for me with POE 2 currently!
The update literally didn't event appear UNTIL i attempted to Log in to POE 2, where/when it informed of said Update & to d/l it, lol.
A quick search leads to 7yr old posts where people experienced this before & it appears a full reinstall of the game will fix it, but ofc i dont want to resort to this yet!

Anyone else seeing this "Validating Files" message? There IS a timer at least, which IS trying to countdown, lmao. I think it was on 12 minutes or more at the start, since then its been adding time randomly, but gradually falling/counting down. It's reached 3 minutes left now.....

Exact same thing. I tried another download and I tried restarting Steam to no avail.

Yeah, GGG decided to FORCE a check of every players game files! The actual update is very small, lmao.
