Why is GGG catering to casuals and Johhny Come Latelys?

Have they forgotten about the POE1 players that put them on the map? Breaks my soul that POE2 is becoming a casual game for the new Johnny Come Lately players. Why stop at adding 5 tries to bosses? Why not just add an I win 1 click button and give them a steam achievement trophy.

Serious answer: the game is unpredictable and its networking is unstable. Its meant to be played with just whoever (no matter where they are on the planet) is at the right stage of the game to pair up. So give us 5 tries so that IF someone with a high ping joins in, the game is not over just because the host left the lobby open.

Also it's just one of those games where whether or not your build will get 1-shot is fairly subjective to most players so it feels better to give a few tries if you find out that's the case.

I am a Lvl 78 Monk and have been 78 for 5 days now, Have tried 5 different variations of this character and no luck in progressing any further . I guess I am done for now. I really like the game 2 but, just sick of the one shot and dead sh!t. Oh well.

Oh yes, because listening to the streamers and no-lifers who make up 1% of the player-base has worked oh so well for every other game. They are actually listening to the majority, if they listened to the small minority you wouldn't be able to hang in the game either.

The concurrently active players count (for steam only) are super strong and have held well... GGG, with PoE 2, are on to something with this apparent, "casual" and/or " johnny-come-lately" first approach.

How?? It's one of easiest most powerfull classes in game! WTF u ppls doing that you can't pass mid lvls?
