Upgrading a unique item.

Is it possible to increase the level of the skill that the scepter gives?
I found the scepter "dark defiler" with the summoning of skeleton warriors, it is level 4, how can I increase it?

I guess not, besides getting a higher level of the same weapon - as the skill-level is tied to the weapons level.

Edit: Meant for all weapons, not just uniques. Uniques will then have no "upgrade" at all, as they are ... "unique" there is no stronger version of the same item.

Edit2: Maybe vaaling a unique can increase these skills, but only a guess.

If you are referring to the Skeletal Warrior summon that comes with the scepter I don't think it has a level.

One way to tell is hold down ALT. If it shows you a range, then you can change it via divine or if lucky a vaal orb.

That's not how it works. All implicit spells have a fixed level. It's based on the itemlevel of the weapon. Right now there is no way to upgrade or downgrade it as far as I know, aside from maybe rolling a +1 to skills on the item with a Vaal Orb or something.

I have a feeling that GGG will eventually change this because the way it works right now is extremely stupid, making leveling uniques impossible to be used for actual leveling.

if you have a spare or cheap on trade like 1 exalt. you can get a few and vaal orb it. it may increase but depends on types of unique, vaal chances and certain stats may not be able to be changed.
