blue screen after hitting play

as the title says. launched the game, hit play, load into server then boom, crash and windows blue screen.... Please don't be too harsh on me as I'm not too competent on Pc. Been a console player since forever and have recently moved to Pc. Pc specs are decent and was wondering if anyone has had this issue? Being honest here and have blue screened 5 times now and don't want to do it again from fear of damaging Pc. Any replies are welcomed and will reply back when I'm online... will disclose what settings i have on or off, specs and info needed to progress the findings as long as you help with instructions on where to look for the info needed. cheers.

That's your PC problem. When you get BSOD look or take a quick photo with your phone, at the bottom end of text it will say Stop code , google that code and find out what it is about. It can be various reasons but that code will tell you what it is.

how long since you last reset your windows?

Checked the stop code. I've have come to the conclusion that it seems to be a windows problem... possibly... not too sure as the code that prompted up on the 6th crash has been posted from 2019, so as I said before, seems like its a windows problem that everyone keeps referring back to.

I did reset the computer after the 4th BSOD in fear of damaging the PC and then crashed the 5th time... tried again this morning while running poecrashhandler (PoE forum said that program could help with crashes) with setting in poe 2 turned off and down to help. It started running fine until exploring just outside of the 1st town and then BSOD happened again for the 6th time. tbh I'm not gonna load the game again due to the annoyance of this and mainly fear of what could happened to the PC.

Thanks for the replies and will look into more assistance anyone is willing to offer as i do want to eventually play the game. Don't want to give up as I want to know more on what is happening.
