The tools they give us just seem to indicate a certain intent. If that's accurate, there's more they could do to further that intent.
With a controller, the pickup button will pick up the best and most valuable items first, like currency or unique items, it's much faster than a mouse.
I also don't trust what the game thinks is valuable to me. Like, I might want that white stellar amulet or heavy belt much much more than a regal orb, because of what a chaos orb might turn it into.
yes, they want you to pick up Items to "feel the weight"
why do you think Poe vets where so excited and cheered when it was revealed that gold was auto pickup when it was first introduced?
