for 1 i thought the monkey slam was a 1 shot, well its not... It was nerfed and now you can survive it.
You need to learn the game better and continue working on your character. This aint D4,
Go to the market, find the highest weapon you can use with the best stats or a nice unique. You'll steamroll everything until you get to the Atlas.
The boss design in PoE2 means there are attacks I have to pay attention to. You can absorb SOME amount of damage, but it's almost never meaningless, and you always have to watch for the big attacks.
This is so much more engaging than face keyboard smash (the D4 bosses tend to do negligible damage or whoops all 1-shots). I love that PoE2 has damage, I'm just giving it more time to cook.
your level is just the number of passives you have allocated.
what level was your gear? i guarantee it was nowhere near the boss level
