I could never achieve that with POE1, now I can finally get that authentic Diablo 2 feeling in 640x480.
And 2 is half of 4, which is why this one runs at exactly half of the fps of 4 (that other game).
It's all very consistent what GGG is doing.
* I like the new corruption system
* I prefer links to not be attached to gear slots but on the gems themselves.
* I prefer finding many bases and gambling on them once over finding one base and gambling on it thousands of times
* I prefer sekhema/chaos to labyrinth
* I prefer dodge roll being baked in versus requiring a movement skill
* I prefer the tier system of affixes where 1 is the lowest, however i'd still like to see the maximum tier something can go ie 1/8 or 1/15 whatever
* I prefer everything about mapping and the atlas in POE1
The rest is just more of the same
You can swap gear pieces without worrying about sockets, links and socket colors.
Respecs are done with gold instead of orbs of regret. If you need to make major changes you can.
PoE2's bosses, at least those in the campaign, are more fun to fight than those in PoE1.
It's a real shame that PoE2's atlas is a mess right now. I'd still be playing if maps were as fun as the campaign was.
POE2 is POE1
So yes, poe2 is better because it requires more then one muscle in my forearm to play it.
PoE1 is, of course, 1000x more polished at present, but I've faith that this will be remedied in time.
