How to fix performance issue (as an option)

All who suffer from low game performance try the following. I have a modern high-performance PC with a 4070 video card, but the game fps is about 40. And no matter what I did, the fps did not rise and sometimes there were drops. I tried different tips. And the following tip really helped me. My fps rose from 40 to 120 (my limit on maximum fps).

For some reason the game used the video card in low power mode. I don't know why.

Try the following:

1. Settings -> System -> Display -> Graphics settings
2. Choose an app to set preference -> Browse -> "Path to Path of Exile 2" folder
3. Add "PathOfExileSteam.exe" -> Set "High performance" -> Save
4. Add "PathOfExile_x64Steam" -> Set "High performance" -> Save

I can tell u why , WIndows power schedules get reset every so many windows updates , Its a nightmare , But u can re-set it max power again (also in nvidia profile it likes to go into power save mode now and then)

The game engine is just bad. VERY BAD!!! It is not a modern unreal 5 engine. You can't even run this game smoothly with a NASA computer.

Sometimes you just have to accept the defeat and give up. You can't fix performance issues in this game.
